Munsyari, the center as well as the gateway of Johar region is situated 110 Km from Haridarshan Resort at an elevation of 2298 meters and is snuggled in the folds of snow clad mountains.
Munsyari is situated in the northern part of the Pithoragarh district. This small town is located at the foot of the main Himalayan peaks that are covered with snow throughout the year. This town has breathtaking views of the Himalayas and the nearby mountains in this area are perfect for trekking. Munsiyari has very large and varied vegetation, with many herbs exclusively available here. It is easily accessible from Pithoragarh City.
